Description

Located in Uptown, The Aragon Ballroom opened 15 July 1926 and regularly booked nation's top jazz bands. The interior was designed in "Moorish" architectural stylized to resemble a Spanish village. Holds almost 8,000 people. Regular dances ended in 1964. Today it is used mostly for concerts, but was also repurposed for other assorted events like wrestling matches matches roller skating.
